I have decided to make a strategic decision to start writing on my webpage in English, not Iceland. All my folks back home are fluent in English but unfortunately my friends in Canada are not fluent in Icelandic. English is thus the rational language choice….or the one that maximizes net benefits! Man I’ve been doing too much economics! Always something happening in Wolfville, we had a storm last week. The governor declared a “state of emergency” so everything was closed down! The snow was 90 cm in some places…so it was pretty harsh. Today I’ve been receiving endless e-mails form professors stating that it is now inevitable. Tomorrow there will be a strike! I am not going to complain if we will get a week or so. I certainly need the time just to wrap up my thesis. I am on my last extensive chapter….so a few pages more and the conclusion! My largest paper up to this day has been about 10-15 pages. My thesis is 80 pages now and I have to admit I am pretty proud of it. Anyways, we are going to have dinner tonight at Gareth’s place were Jakob, Dalia among others will be, so a great night ahead! ps. Im updating the links and there are some new pictures as well.
