It is Tuesday and I am over my head with school work. Last weekend was amazing. I had a meeting on Friday with my Dj-partner in Kapital, Kiddi Bigfoot, about the music etc.
At 5am Saturday morning I woke up to go salmon fishing with my dad. We went to Brynjudalsá which is in Hvalfirði. It is a beautiful place close to Reykjavik. My father caught three salmons, two were 3 pounds and one 7 pounds.
I didn’t catch anything this time but I had to leave early which didn’t increase my chances. Saturday afternoon Kolla and I went to Keflavik to attend Ljosanott which is an annual festival attracting more than 30.000 people! Our friend Atli has family there which invited us to dinner and drinks but he was DJ-ing in one of the main clubs there later that night so we ended up dancing our limbs off until 6:30 in the morning!! It was an amazing night which I hope Kolla and I along with Eir, Gunni and Atli attend again next year. Thanks again Atli for a great time!
Yesterday I realized that I had to add the sixth course this semester to my schedule which is Mathematical Economics. Being in economics everyone things I love math but that is far from reality! Well math is ok but I struggle with it but this course should not be too bad because I have used the textbook in another course in Acadia.
Talking about Acadia, last week I e-mailed the two last papers I had to hand in to finish my degree. I have not heard back from the professor that is grading them (Tugwell) but I am pretty sure I don’t have to worry about Acadia again in this lifetime!!!
Both papers are in “Writings” in case you are interested.
While I write this Kolla is making a traditional Canadian meal. Well not traditional Canadian, more Mexican, but we had it very often while we lived in Wolfville.
I picked up Commanding Heights from the library today which is a documentary about economic development in the 20th century. I managed watch about 30 mins today (its 360mins in total) and it seems great. More on that later.
Tomorrow I am going with my MBA fellows to Icelandair where we will receive a lecture on the airline's mission, strategies and vision. More on that as well tomorrow!
