Santas in Iceland and The Invisible Hand While having my breakfast this morning I had the drink Kókó-mjólk. On the drink it says that Iceland actually had about 80 santas back in the old days! Most people find it remarkable that Iceland actually has 13 Santa Clauses today! The tradition is that kids put their shoe in a window and get gifts in it, the morning after, when they wake up. Each of the 13 santas do this so they get gifts for 13 days. If we started using all the 80 santas again kids would get gifts for almost 3 month before Christmas!!! 20 years ago I would have loved that. Iceland is a crazy place. Ósýnileg Hönd frjálshyggjufélagsins kom út í gær. Ég er virkilega ánægður með útkomuna en hana verður hægt að sækja á www.frjalshyggja.is fljótlega.
